License
Agreement
Terms of use for Egoshin Type fonts (End User License Agreement, EULA). By purchasing a license you agree to these terms.
Last updated: 8 July 20261.Parties & subject
Licensor (rights holder): Vladimir Egoshin (brand “Vova Egoshin” / Egoshin Type), independent type designer (the “Author”).
Licensee: the individual or entity who paid for the license (“You”).
The Author is the sole rights holder of the fonts. By purchasing a license you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the font within the scope of the purchased license. Ownership of the Font Software and all intellectual property rights remain with the Author — this license does not transfer copyright.
Sales are made through Lemon Squeezy (Merchant of Record), which acts as reseller and tax agent. Payment and refunds are also governed by Lemon Squeezy’s terms and our Refund Policy. This agreement governs the right to use the font.
2.License types
Each type of use is licensed separately. The scope is defined by the tier shown on your receipt.
2.1. Desktop (OTF)
Installing the font on computers for static graphics: layouts, print, logos, documents, images (including rasterized social media posts). Scope — by number of workstations: 1 / up to 5 / up to 25 / up to 100.
2.2. Web (WOFF2)
Embedding the font on a website via @font-face. Scope — by monthly pageviews: up to 50,000 / 250,000 / 1,000,000 / unlimited. The file must be hosted on your own server/CDN; serving the source file for download by visitors is prohibited.
2.3. App (TTF)
Embedding the font into an application, game or digital product. Scope — by number of apps: 1 / up to 5.
2.4. Trial (OTF)
A free version for evaluation and testing only. Any commercial use, publication or distribution is prohibited.
3.What is permitted
- Use the font for the purpose of the purchased license, within the paid tier.
- Create and commercially use the resulting work (layouts, logos, websites, apps).
- Make a backup copy of the font file for personal storage.
4.What is prohibited (all licenses)
- Transferring, selling, gifting or publishing the font file to third parties (including contractors and clients — they need their own license).
- Decompiling, reverse-engineering or converting the file, or creating standalone derivative fonts for distribution.
- Using the font to train, fine-tune or develop AI / machine-learning models or generative systems.
- Reselling or sublicensing the license.
- Using the font beyond the paid tier without purchasing additional license.
- Embedding the font into templates/builders that let third parties extract the file.
Exception (permitted): you may modify individual glyphs solely to create your own logo or wordmark. The resulting logo may be used without restriction, but the modified font file may not be distributed as a standalone font.
5.Term & territory
Desktop, Web and App licenses are granted on a perpetual basis from the moment of payment and are valid worldwide, provided these terms are met. A breach automatically terminates the license.
6.Refunds
Fonts are digital products delivered instantly. Refund terms are set out in our separate Refund Policy.
7.Warranty & liability
The font is provided “as is”. The Author does not warrant fitness for a particular purpose and is not liable for indirect damages. The Author’s maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the license.
8.Governing law & disputes
This agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales and shall, where possible, be resolved by negotiation.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Author reserves the right to seek protection of its intellectual property rights (including DMCA notices and cease-and-desist demands) in any jurisdiction.
